Former Republican Governor Chris Sununu and former Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp discuss what voters may be looking for in the Republican and Democratic parties after the midterms. Sununu says President Trump’s combative personality may be a challenge for Republicans in the short term, but argues that Trump will not define the party forever. He says Democrats face a deeper, generational challenge in defining what their party stands for. "Moderate Democrats need to stand up and need to push back a little bit," he said. Ms. Heitkamp says voters aren't focused on political labels, arguing that if you asked people on the street, they'd be more likely to say: "I just want them to get their damn job done, and I want my life to be easier.
